2011 Festival Dates Announced:
Mark your calendars!! April 11 – 15, 2011 with the Concert of Stars on April 27th

Celebrating 42 Years of Excellence
We’ve had a wonderful Music Festival this past year. Congratulations to all the participants and a special thank you to the parents, teachers, and friends who encourage and support them in their study of music.

It’s a joy to see so much talent in our community. The purpose of the Music Festival is to help young people develop their musical talent – and we saw that in spades this year.

In addition to providing each participant with individual feedback on their performance, the adjudicators were able to spend extra time to fit in an impromptu Master Vocal Class and to "workshop” with the school bands.

It’s a pleasure to see many of the same students competing year after year and to watch their progress as they become more confident and take on more complex pieces.

We are very much looking forward to the 43rd Festival. The dates have been set as: April 11 – 15, 2011 with the Concert of Stars on April 27, 2011

The students, music teachers, parents and volunteers are an integral part of a successful Festival. We invite your feedback on any area of the Festival that you think could be improved.

Festival Information

The Quinte Rotary Music Festival Committee extends a warm welcome to the participants of the 42nd Annual Music Festival, their families and friends.

Since the festival's inception in 1968, we have had the privilege of welcoming over 20,000 talented musicians to this competition, some of whom have made music their careers. The talent in the Quinte area is exceptional and we take pride in playing an important part by offering this opportunity to the musicians.
